All authors who are commercially published in the English language are eligible for a panel. (This includes translated authors.) Those with recent publications (2007/2008) will receive priority, but the aim is to give everyone at least one panel. Blackwell intends to stock books by all participating authors, including those by authors not published in the United Kingdom (i.e. USA, Canada, Australia, etc.).

If books are not available through the usual distribution channels, authors may be asked to bring their books which Blackwell will sell on commission. The organisers will forward details of all the participating authors to Blackwell.

Prospective panellists are asked to send a brief bio (up to 75 words) and a photo (jpg/tiff file at 300 dpi) by either email to info@crimefest.com or by regular mail. Photos will not be returned. Commercially published authors should also send the name of their publisher and the titles of their last three books. Panel suggestions are welcome.

Authors can not be guaranteed a specific date for their panel until the
programming is completed.
