AUDIBLE SOUNDS OF CRIME AWARDS
CRIMEFEST annually recognises the outstanding contribution that crime audiobooks make in popularising both the genre and audio format. The awards for best abridged and unabridged crime audiobooks of 2011 will be presented at the CRIMEFEST gala dinner (26 May).

Audible UK has provided £1,000 to be divided amongst the winning authors and readers. The winners also receive a commemorative vase provided by Bristol Blue Glass.

To ensure that we have all relevant entries for consideration, we request that publishers submit details of all their eligible titles. (There is no cost attached to submitting titles.)

Eligible are any crime, spy, suspense and thriller titles, etc. first published in 2011 in the UK in both print and audio formats (abridged and/or unabridged). The audio book must be available for download from Audible UK.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS SUNDAY 18 DECEMBER 2011.

A list of entries and their details should be submitted by email to audio@crimefest.com and should be listed as follows: first name - last name - title - reader - abridged and/or unabridged - publisher - month
(Example: Joe - Bloggs - The Hangman's Noose - Jane Doe - abridged - Murder Press - May)

The above details can be submitted in the body of an email or attached in an email as text, rich-text-format, Word or Excel files. The preferred method is an attached Excel file.

By submitting entries, publishers agree to provide five copies of a shortlisted title for promotional purposes and/or as prizes.

Should the winner or a representative not be present to collect the prizes, then the publisher agrees to reimburse CRIMEFEST for the cost of shipping the prizes to the recipient or the publisher.

Please email info@crimefest.com if you have any queries.
